YUNN Jewelry Campaign

The V E S S E L campaign for Yunn Jewelry is a poetic exploration of what it means to hold—both figuratively and literally—and how our bodies embody this universal compulsion. The collection draws deep inspiration from Chinese ceramic traditions, particularly the iconic blue and white porcelain of the Yuan dynasty and the subtle elegance of celadon ware from the Song dynasty. These influences echo through the campaign’s design, weaving together themes of femininity, orientalism, appropriation, and reappropriation, while honoring the tactile history of a craft that immortalizes the gestures of daily life.

Central to the set design, we incorporated stunning ceramic works by international artist Pascal Girardin. Her pieces, carefully selected to complement the collection, serve as both literal and symbolic vessels—bridging the ancient craft of ceramics with the contemporary artistry of Yunn Jewelry. The campaign’s aesthetic balances the fragility and resilience of the materials and themes it explores. The blue and white hues, soft celadon greens, and organic forms in the set design create an immersive environment, amplifying the collection’s narrative of tradition, identity, and reimagined heritage.
